Tile mason — Day County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tile mason in Day County, South Dakota. You will be based on a commercial fit-out project. Requirements: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage Day to day you will cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system.
