Rebar foreman — Rock Island County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Rock Island County, Illinois. Day to day you will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. You should have: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
