Urgent requirement: foundry labourer (North Dakota)

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Grand Forks County, North Dakota. Day to day you will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Rotating shifts.
