Join our team: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Fluvanna County, Virginia. You will be based at a busy machine shop. The role involves check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts 1+ years on the tools preferred.
