System scaffolder • Jefferson County, Texas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a system scaffolder in Jefferson County, Texas. The job is on an industrial refinery shutdown. Ideal candidate: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level On the job you will handle: • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips 5+ years on the tools preferred.
