Immediate opening: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Mobile County, Alabama. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently On the job you will handle: • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
