We are recruiting: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Slough, England. Your main tasks: • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims Ideal candidate: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes 3+ years on the tools preferred.
