Great opportunity: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Paikoro, Niger State. Day to day you will weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
