PVC window installer wanted in Kankakee County

Join our team: we are hiring a PVC window installer in Kankakee County, Illinois. You will work on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Day to day you will install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings Six days a week, one day off.
