Great opportunity: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Jefferson County, Texas. The role involves strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. Requirements: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Part-time with flexible hours.
