Immediate opening: panel welder (Nebraska)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a panel welder in Furnas County, Nebraska. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. Day to day you will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
