Fabrication workshop technician • Telfair County, Georgia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Telfair County, Georgia. The job is on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Day to day you will take site measurements of openings before fabrication; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame. Ideal candidate: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits.
