Join our team: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Huerfano County, Colorado. Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade On the job you will handle: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
