Foundry worker — Ola Oluwa

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry worker in Ola Oluwa, Osun State. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. Your main tasks: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around ₦195,000 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
