Great opportunity: mason's helper (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a mason's helper in Lavaca County, Texas. You will be based with a civil contractor. The role involves: • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer You should have: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain 3+ years on the tools preferred.
