Urgent requirement: argon welding operator (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Deaf Smith County, Texas. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits.
