Tiling assistant — Clay County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Clay County, Iowa. You will work in a tile and sanitaryware showroom. Your main tasks: • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter You should have: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites 2+ years on the tools preferred. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
