Immediate opening: we are hiring a beldar in Cherry County, Nebraska. On a typical shift you will mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate. What we are looking for: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Six days a week, one day off. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
