Shakeout operator wanted in York County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shakeout operator in York County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Day-to-day duties: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes Rotating shifts.
