System formwork carpenter wanted in Delaware County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Delaware County, New York. You will be based on a bridge and flyover project. The role involves: • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
