Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Hitchcock County, Nebraska. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals You will set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight.
