We are recruiting: we are hiring a pastry baker in Bennett County, South Dakota. You will be based at a cake shop. Ideal candidate: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Food handler / hygiene certificate On a typical shift you will monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; score the top of loaves before baking; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer.
