Immediate opening: kitchen cook (Kentucky)

Join our team: we are hiring a kitchen cook in Lewis County, Kentucky. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays On the job you will handle: • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes Full-time, day shift.
