Fabrication workshop technician wanted in Saline County

Join our team: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Saline County, Kansas. You will work at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. Day to day you will cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents. Ideal candidate: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop 5+ years on the tools preferred.
