Wheel loader operator wanted in Orleans County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Orleans County, Vermont. The job is at a stone quarry. On the job you will handle: • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels You should have: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
