We are recruiting: foundry worker (Kansas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry worker in Chase County, Kansas. On a typical shift you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
