You should have: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading The role involves: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area 4+ years on the tools preferred.
