Lifting rigger — Clark County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Clark County, South Dakota. You will work on a high-rise building site. On the job you will handle: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
