Lifting rigger wanted in Whatcom County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Whatcom County, Washington. On a typical shift you will carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; read lift plans and method statements before starting. You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness 2+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
