Die-casting operator wanted in Ede North

Join our team: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Ede North, Osun State. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. Day to day you will fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. Ideal candidate: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
