House painter — Surry County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a house painter in Surry County, Virginia. You will be based in a paint and spray workshop. Day to day you will sand and fill walls before applying primer; hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams; mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting; measure up and work out paint and material quantities; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer. Requirements: • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day • Able to mix and colour-match paints accurately A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts.
