Fusing press operator — Yamhill County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Yamhill County, Oregon. The job is at a dry cleaner's. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Your main tasks: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Give each garment a final press before packing • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
