Construction labourer — Sumter County

Now hiring: we are hiring a construction labourer in Sumter County, Alabama. You will be based on a commercial building project. Ideal candidate: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times The role involves load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
