Immediate opening: we are hiring a press operator in Butte County, California. Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges On the job you will handle: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
