Restoration bricklayer • Pike County, Georgia

Now hiring: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Pike County, Georgia. You will be based at a residential building site. On the job you will handle: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
