Your main tasks: • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
