Immediate opening: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Rush County, Indiana. You will be based at an automotive components factory. Day to day you will monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
