Port container crane operator • McMullen County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a port container crane operator in McMullen County, Texas. You will be based in a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure Requirements: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
