Horizontal milling machine operator • Meagher County, Montana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Meagher County, Montana. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. The role involves: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe You should have: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work 3+ years on the tools preferred.
