Vacancy available: meat trimmer (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Brighton and Hove, England. Your main tasks: • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled Requirements: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers 3+ years on the tools preferred.
