Joiner — Mecklenburg County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a joiner in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. You will work on a residential housebuilding project. Day-to-day duties: • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles What we are looking for: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
