Join our team: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Fulton County, Illinois. The job is in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Your main tasks: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
