Immediate opening: restoration bricklayer (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Parker County, Texas. The job is at a residential building site. The role involves: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
