Vacancy available: we are hiring a VMC operator in Dona Ana County, New Mexico. The job is in a die and mould making unit. On the job you will handle: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Part-time with flexible hours.
