Gas commissioning technician — Adavi

Join our team: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Adavi, Kogi State. You will be based in a gas distribution network. On a typical shift you will run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Driving licence for travel between sites • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion 2+ years on the tools preferred.
