Rebar installer • Yates County, New York

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar installer in Yates County, New York. You will work on a commercial tower construction site. On the job you will handle: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman What we are looking for: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
