Join our team: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in York County, Virginia. The job is at a busy machine shop. The role involves mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges. What we are looking for: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces 4+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts.
