Chiller technician — Clinton County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a chiller technician in Clinton County, Illinois. The job is at a busy refrigeration workshop. You should have: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds Your main tasks: • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets Overtime paid at a premium rate.
