Argon welder — Christian County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Christian County, Kentucky. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces You will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent.
