Precision welder — Whitfield County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in Whitfield County, Georgia. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height The role involves weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. We offer $180 per day plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
